Mission

Cinema deserves to survive.

For half a century, VCI Entertainment has done one thing: rescue films that would otherwise vanish. Lost prints, decaying negatives, forgotten masterpieces — restored, preserved, and released for the collectors and historians who care about the source.

01

Rescue

We track surviving elements — original camera negatives, early-generation prints, foreign 35mm masters — wherever they exist. From private collectors to film archives, our team chases down the best surviving source for each title.

02

Restore

Each film is scanned at 2K or 4K resolution depending on source quality. Frame-by-frame digital restoration removes physical damage — scratches, dust, splices — while honoring the original cinematographic intent. We never over-correct.

03

Release

Restorations are pressed as boutique physical editions: Blu-rays, DVDs, and 4K UHDs with collector packaging, archival liner notes, and historical context. Many titles include rare commentaries, behind-the-scenes material, and academic essays.

04

Preserve

Every restoration is preserved alongside its original elements for future scholarship. We collaborate with foundations like the Mary Pickford Foundation and other film archives to ensure cultural significance is recorded for future generations.

Preservation is collection.

When you buy from VCI, you're not just acquiring a film — you're funding the rescue of the next one.
