The Kit Parker Films library on disc: Americana features, classic comedy shorts and restored westerns from one of the most respected repertory collections in the country, preserved and reissued by VCI.
Laurel & Hardy - The Definitive Restorations headline the library, alongside the Charley Chase at Hal Roach silents and talkies that define golden-age short comedy.
Stranger on Horseback in a Restored Special Edition, the Darn Good Westerns volumes and the wider Kit Parker western holdings connect directly to the site's Westerns and Serials collections.
A Walk in the Sun, Combat Camera: The Pacific, Colors of War: Europe and the Euro-Trash Double Feature show the range of the library well beyond comedy and westerns.
Kit Parker Films is a long-established repertory and restoration library, reissued on disc by VCI. It is especially strong in Laurel and Hardy, Hal Roach comedy and classic westerns.
Where a title has been restored, the scan resolution and source element are listed on its product page. Restoration is carried out from the best surviving film element, not from an existing video master.
DVD-R indicates a manufactured-on-demand disc. It is how smaller-audience titles from the catalogue stay permanently available rather than going out of print.
